Germans Are Cruel! An Entire Town Just Voted To Kill 700 Pigeons By Breaking Their Necks For A Small Reason

This comedy couldn't have gotten any darker. The charming town of Limburg an der Lahn has decided to deal with its pigeon problem in the most uncharming way - almost brutal. Democracy is beautiful but 53% of residents have voted in favour of mass-murder of around 700 pigeons. 

When we're talking mass-murder, it stinks of a chapter from medieval torture manual. So, the town has planned involves hiring a falconer to lure the pigeons to death. Once captured, the birds will be thrashed with wooden stick and then have their necks broken. 

Any animal rights activists will be annoyed with this German methodlogy. Tanya Muller, the city pigeon project manager, expressed her outrage," It can't be that we kill animals just because they annoy us, or they’re a nuisance. That’s not acceptable."
