According to a report in The Times of India, former India and Mumbai spinner Nilesh Kulkarni will produce the video, which is expected to become an instant hit.

“This is for the first time that our national anthem (Jana Gana Mana), will feature the sporting heroes of India, because we feel that the entire nation gets united when it’s played, and there is no better way to reach out to millions of people than this. So, we feel proud that we’ve come up with this initiative," Kulkarni was quoted as saying.

The video will be shot in Mumbai and will be directed by Abhijit Panse and the music will be composed by bollywood music director Ram Sampath.

“It’s a movement to inspire our young generation to play sport, because it teaches you not just to compete, but bounce back too. Our tagline is ‘apne desh ke pairon ko apne desh ki mitti par rahne do (Let our feet stay forever in our countries soil),’ added Kulkarni.

It will be launched by Tendulkar himself two days before the historic annual day in a Mumbai hotel, the report claimed.
