New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday lauded retiring Indian batsman Virender Sehwag as India's Vivian Richards.

BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur took to his Twitter account to praise the swashbuckling right-hander.



Thakur further said that the 37-year-old was a role model for budding cricketers.



Earlier, Indian ODI skipper MS Dhoni too compared Viru with the West Indian legend.


 



Former Indian skipper Krishnamachari Srikanth also shared a similar opinion about the Sultan of Multan.
