It has become the norm on social micro-blogging site Twitter to troll the Bollywood actress when the star batsman plays.


When Kohli endured a rough patch, the Twitterati blamed it on Anushka's influence on him.


Now that he is doing well, the detractors feel their point has been proven.


Kohli finally broke his silence with regards to this issue, as he slammed such people for their 'shameful' behavior towards the actress. He went on to add that she had only given him positivity.



Kohli has been in tremendous form in 2016. After a succssful tour of Australia, the right-hander was at his best in the Asia Cup as well.


The 27-year-old appears to have taken his game to the next level in the on-going ICC World Twenty20.
