The controversy emerged when a car in which Kishan was travelling rammed into an autorickshaw. Initial reports claimed that cricketer was arrested for reckless driving and he and his father Pranab Pandey were ‘manhandled’ after the incident in the Kankarbagh area of Patna last evening.

However Police denied all such claims. “There has been no arrest or FIR in the case. Both the parties have settled it mutually at the police station yesterday,” Officer in charge of Kankarbagh police station Vijay Kumar Mishra told PTI.

It could have been a big blow for the Indian cricket team as Kishan, a wicketkeeper batsman, was recently appointed captain for the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh.

As per the latest reports the 17-year-old cricketer has already resumed training.
