New Delhi: The penultimate day of the fifth and final Test between India and England certainly belonged to Karun Nair, but Ravindra Jadeja wasn't the one to be overshadowed by a triple hundred.

Jadeja played a blistering knock of 51 runs off 55 balls to help India score quick runs towards the end of the Day 4.


Once he reached his fifty, the 28-year-old once again showed his sword wielding skills, typical of a Rajput.

India, in reply to England's first innings total of 477, declared at 759/7d to take a 282-run lead with just under 10 overs' play left in the day.


India have already won the five-match series, thanks to victories in Visakhapatnam, Mohali and Mumbai. The series opener in Rajkot ended in a high-scoring draw.
