Fire in Finance Ministry office, no casualties
A fire broke out at two rooms of the Finance Ministry`s North Block office at 3.45 am on Thursday.

New Delhi: A fire broke out at two rooms of the Finance Ministry`s North Block office at 3.45 am on Thursday.
Six fire brigades and electricians were rushed to the spot at 5.45 am, following which the flames were doused. However, by the time fire brigades reached, room number 14 and 15 were gutted. Crucial files are said to have been destroyed. The exact reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
