New Delhi: Kings XI Punjab spinner Axar Patel gave his fans something to cheer on Sunday as his team won their second match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 season.

KXIP defeated table-toppers Gujarat Lions by 23 runs in Match 28, courtesy a scintillating spell from Patel.


Patel claimed the first hat-trick of this season, in a spell where he bagged key wickets of Dwayne Smith, Dinesh Karthik, Dwayne Bravo and Ravindra Jadeja.


There was a funny moment in his spell, as soon after he dismissed Bravo for a first-ball duck, Axar was seen shaking a leg on the Champion dance.
