Usually calm and composed in the dugout, when his team was on the verge of pulling off a spectacular win against Virat Kohli and his boys, Gambhir couldn't resist his excitement and kicked a chair.

It happened in the penultimate over of the innings, when Suryakumar Yadav swept a ball for a boundary, bringing down the equation to two runs off eight balls. Gambhir knew his team had pulled off the win as he kicked a chair.

The Delhi batsman possibly let out his frustration on the chair after he was wrongly adjudged lbw while batting on 37.

Chasing a formidable total of 185 runs, Yusuf Pathan tonked 60 runs off 29 balls to help his team achieve the target with five balls to spare at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.

With the emphatic win, KKR bounced back in the points table where they are currently ranked second after Gujarat Lions.
