New Delhi: England outcast Kevin Pietersen asked for an apology to Quetta Gladiators' fans interestingly in the 'Hindi' language after his side lost in the inaugural Pakistan Super League title on Tuesday.

Pietersen's side Gladiators lost against Islamabad United by six wickets at Dubai. KP wasn't able to talk with his bat in the final after scoring a paltry 18 runs. 


Pietersen said that he is really worried after the loss and apologised to the fans, promising to have a better campaign next year.



The experienced Pietersen is a household name in several domestic Twenty20 tourneys. He had an excellent Big Bash League where his side interestingly lost in the final.


He will next be seen in the Indian Premier League with the Rising Pune Sueprgiants under skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.


KP's teammate Nathan McCullum also asked the fans for forgiveness for not being able to get the trophy.



Former Pakistan skipper Imran Khan congratulated the winning team in the PSL.
