A foreign diplomat has become the victims of thieves in the capital while attending a pre-Christmas party at an embassy here, police said today.

pre-Christmas party at an embassy here, police said today.
The incident took place on December 22 at the residence of Venezuelan ambassador here where Capaya Rodriguez Gonzalez, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy, lost her blackberry mobile and her identity card besides other articles. Gonzalez approached police on December 27.
"I take this opportunity to inform you that the Black Berry Mobile, Diplomatic Identity Card and other important items, in a wallet, belonging to me have been stolen around 9:00 PM on December 22 while attending a party at the residence of the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at 1, Amrita Shergill Marg," the complaint by Gonzalves said. A case of theft has been registered.
