Illegal mining: Vehicles impounded in Seoni
Continuing its drive against illegal mining and transportation, the district administration has seized four tractors and three trucks.

The vehicles were seized on the directives of the district Collector, Ajit Kumar and the owners of the four of the vehicles were fined a total of Rs 28,000. The fine for the owners of the remaining three vehicles will be decided as per rules. Action against the vehicles was taken under Section 53 (5) of the Madhya Pradesh Minor Minerals Act of 1996.
