BJP alleges scam involving Mayawati`s brother
BJP alleged that UP CM`s brother and BSP general secretary Satish Misra`s son were involved in scam worth crores of rupees by floating fake firms.
Lucknow: A day after Uttar Pradesh
government issued a white paper to counter opposition charges
on corruption, BJP on Saturday hit back alleging that Chief Minister
Mayawati`s brother and BSP general secretary Satish Misra`s
son were involved in scam worth crores of rupees by floating
fake firms.
Rejecting the charges as baseless, BSP sources said that BJP was "frustrated" because it has been totally alienated from poor, dalits, backward and minority community. "Mayawati`s brother Anand Kumar and Kapil Kumar, 20-year-old son of BSP national general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra, floated dozens of fake firms in order to absorb scam money," national secretary of BJP, Kirit Somaiya told newspersons here today.
To stress his point, Somaiya released a list of 125 companies which he claimed belonged to these people. Somaiya said that BJP has lodged a formal complaint in this connection with the ministry for company affairs, enforcement bureau and central bureau of direct taxes.
