On Day 3, Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang – two veteran shooters failed to open India's account.


On Day 4, Dattu Bhokanal, Heena Sidhu and Men's hockey team will be in action and it remains to be seen whether India can open their account.

Rowing: India's Dattu Baban Bhokanal will be in action in the quarter-finals of the men's single sculls after finishing third in his qualifying round of the Rio Olympics on August 6.

Shooting: Heena Sidhu, the sole pistol shooter in the Indian contingent, will now try to make amends in the 25 m pistol event.


Time: 05:30 pm onwards


Hockey: Indian men's hockey team will be up against Argentina in their third match of the event. Time: 07:30 pm onwards


Archery: Atanu Das will participate in men's individual eliminations round.


Time: 08:00 pm onwards


Boxing: India's Vikas Krishan will be up against USA boxer Charles Conwell in 75kg middleweight category.
