Rio Olympics: After Indian sporting fraternity, Adam Gilchrist praises Dipa Karmakar for inspiring performance

New Delhi: Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar has become the toast of the nation ever since she finisedh up fourth in the vault final at Rio Olympics 2016.

The Indian sporting fraternity and even Bollywood stars hailed the 23-year-old for her gutsy performance at the biggest sporting spectacle.

Dipa's fan base has been rapidly increasing and the latest member to join the list is former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist.

The Australian legend took to Twitter to praise Dipa and said she had warmed the hearts of not just the Indian fans, but she had made in impact on a global level as well.
