IAS-turned-politician Shah Faesal detained, put under house arrest in Srinagar

A case has been registered under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against Shah Faisal, the former IAS of Jammu and Kashmir and head of the Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement. Under the PSA, one can be kept in custody for at least three months without trial.
