Madhya Pradesh Floods: Over 1,250 villages affected; while 6,200 people were rescued
The flood situation in North Madhya Pradesh turned "severe". More than 1,250 villages were affected by floods following heavy rains here. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday said that around 6,200 people have been shifted to safer places with the help of Indian Army, NDRF, BSF and state agencies.
