UNESCO wants to declare Marine Drive as World Heritage Site; Mumbai disagrees

Residents of Mumbai's Marine Drive are unhappy with the nomination of Marine Drive to be declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Residents of the area revealed that they were not consulted by BMC or the state government before proposing such a tag for the area.
