DNA: Who`s changing 2000 notes on daily wages in Kolkata?

DNA: Let us remind you that after demonetization on 8 November 2016, Rs 2000 notes came into circulation. But on May 19, 2023, RBI announced the withdrawal of Rs 2000 notes from circulation. Then it was said by RBI that people should not worry, Rs 2000 notes can be exchanged by depositing them in the branches of all banks till 30 September 2023. Earlier the last date for depositing Rs 2000 notes in the bank was 30 September. Which was later extended by RBI till 7 October 2023. Most of you would have got your Rs 2,000 notes exchanged by the first deadline i.e. 30th September. Or you might have done so by October 7th. However, arrangements were also made by RBI for those who could not do so.
