Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday ruled out any immediate possibility of quitting the NDA government on the question of imposition of President's Rule in West Bengal, but said that she would think it over if the situation warranted.
“We shall continue to be in the NDA. Why does this question of quitting NDA arise now? If the situation demands, I will think it over,” she told reporters after persistent queries whether Trinamool Congress would leave the NDA since the Centre had not met her demand for imposing President's Rule in the state.

Asked how much time she would give to the Vajpayee government, the firebrand leader replied, “In politics, we have to wait for sometime. We know how to get, what to get and when to get.”
