Mumbai: Preity Zinta, who happens to be best friends with her ‘Soldier’ co-star Bobby Deol, seems to have changed with time. The dimpled girl had delivered her first major hit film with the Bobby Deol starrer and since then been very close to the Deol family. However, the latest buzz has a contrasting picture to paint! Buzz has it that the bubby actress has quoted a mammoth fee to star in Deols` sequel to rom-com ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. Talking to a daily, a source revealed, “Since YPD was a superhit, Preity asked for a very high price when she was offered the role.” However, Sangeeth Sivan, the director on board for the franchise refused to divulge any information about Preity’s remuneration. He said, “They have kept it absolutely open; nothing is clear right now. I don’t want to comment on it.” The Deol trio- Papa Dharmendra and sons Sunny & Bobby have a huge fanbase among in Punjab. They are also hugely popular among the community residing overseas.
