Pakistan opt to bowl first
Pakistan won the toss and opt to bowl first against India in the T20 World Cup match on Sunday.
"We are going to bowl first. We'll look to take early wickets and put pressure. Dew is also a factor. We have had good practice sessions and am confident about our preparations. Pakistan's bowlers are known to trouble other teams but I am confident about our batting too. Haider Ali is left out," Pakistan skipper Babar Azam said after winning the toss.

In an exclusive chat with Zee News, Shoaib Akhtar said that Pakistan should opt to bowl first against India if they win the toss. "Pakistan should opt to bowl first. They shouldn't be afraid of chasing," Akhtar said.
Just minutes ahead of the high-octane clash, former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar tried to ease the nerves of Pakistan captain Babar Azam against India in the ICC T20 World Cup. "Important baat @babarazam258: Sab se pehle, Aap nay ghabrana nahi hai:) (first and foremost, you should not get overawed by the occasion)," Shoaib Akhtar said in a tweet.
Babar Azam-led side has also set foot outside towards the Dubai International Stadium for today's face-off.

Both teams come into the match with decent practice under their belt, having played two warm-up matches each. Pakistan beat West Indies by seven wickets in their first match before losing to South Africa off the last ball in the second. India, the 2007 champions, on the other hand, won both their warm-up matches, beating England and Australia.
