`Crazed` scissor stalker says he’s married to Miley Cyrus

Washington: Miley Cyrus’s stalker, who was arrested after turning up at her mansion with scissors, has asserted that he has been friends with the singer for five years and is married to her.

The 40-year-old man has been charged for trespassing and burglary, for climbing over a fence at the 19-year-old singer’s 3-million-pound mansion in Los Angeles. “I am friends with Miley Cyrus. I am,” a website has quoted Rivera as saying on the local TV station. “She’s my wife. Me and Miley have been friends for five years,” he said. The stalker reportedly carried scissors, money, notes and ID in his pockets and had something like a tie around his neck, but when officers pulled on it a large Pink heart appeared from his chest. “Rivera thinks they were married. I would say delusional is a good characterisation of him,” Lieutenant Brian Wendling of Los Angeles Police, said. According to a source, the man already has a “has a lengthy record in Texas, including a trespassing charge”. The accused was set free on a bail of 1000 dollars. ANI
