50 years on, Ringo Starr still gets stage fright

London: Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr admits he still gets stage fright even after being in the industry for 50 years.

"I feel like running away three seconds before I`m due to hit the stage. That`s why I always run on - I`d love to coolly stroll on but I can`t. I`m all right as soon as I get the microphone in my hand," thesun.co.uk quoted Starr as saying. "I`ll give concerts as long as I can hold on to the sticks.
