Hamid Ansari greets citizens on New Year 2014

New Delhi: Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has greeted citizens and wished them a happy and healthy 2014. In his message, he said: "May the coming year shower us with peace, harmony and optimism in our midst."

He also called upon the people of the country to resolve to work together towards building a strong, united and prosperous India. "As we celebrate the end of one year and beginning of another, let us resolve to work together towards building a strong, united and prosperous India," he said.
