Man stabs wife to death in Kotwali area

Pilibhit: A man allegedly stabbed his wife to death over a family discord in Kotwali area here, police said on Sunday.

Satish and Vimla Devi got married three years back, police said, adding, due to some differences, Vimla had left Satish and was living with her parents. Apparently agitated over this, Satish attacked Vimla with a knife and killed her yesterday, Additional Superintendent of Police Udai Shanker Singh said. A case had been lodged against Satish and efforts are on to arrest him, he said.
