How to automatically delete YouTube search and watch history –Steps explained here

Video-streaming giant YouTube has millions of users who stream content on their connected TVs, laptops, desktops and mobile devices. YouTube, other than offering you to watch online video, also allows users and subscribers to download them on their devices for offline watching.

Google says that not all search history features are available in signed-out mode. You will have to sign in to your account to access all of your search history.

Users can also choose to delete their YouTube search and watch history automatically after a certain amount of time.

Go to your Google Account.

On the top left panel, click Data & personalization.

Under "Activity controls," click YouTube History, then click Auto-delete.

Click the auto-delete time-frame you want and then Next and then Confirm to save your auto-delete activity choice.

Click Confirm at the bottom right of the pop up.

In the left-hand Menu, go to Settings .

Select Clear search history.

Select the Clear search history button.

Youtube had couple of months back said that overall, 85 percent viewers used the platform more than ever since the outbreak of Covid-19. And, 93 per cent of YouTube viewers prefer watching content in Indic languages, the company said in its annual event Brandcast.
