These throwback pics of Dipika Chikhlia aka Sita of 'Ramayan' make us nostalgic

Every so often, old pictures of the ‘Ramayan’ star cast takes over the internet. It made a historic comeback on the small screen in March and soon, ruled TV. The cast of 'Ramayan' is still remembered by their fans and the show changed their lives completely. 

In an Instagram post, actress Dipika Chikhlia Topiwala recently explained to the audience how playing Sita in the iconic show changed her life. Sharing a stunning picture of herself as Sita from ‘Ramayan’, Dipika wrote “It’s that one step and that one day, that changes who you are, and your life ... one such walk ... I walked as Dipika and at the end of the corridor, I became Sitaji ... I was reborn.”

We also chanced upon an unseen photo of Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, who played Lord Ram and Sita, respectively, in the show with former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Dipika wrote that it was on this day that they were felicitated in Delhi and she realised that ‘Ramayan’ has created history and they are part of a legacy.
