People across the nation carried out candlelight vigil to pay tribute to the CRPF personnel who were killed in the Pulwama terror attack. In a dastardly terror attack on security forces, at least 40 CRPF jawans were martyred on Thursday after a suicide bomber from the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror group rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a bus carrying the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The deadly attack, which triggered national outrage, prompted protests and demands that severe punishment be doled out to the neighbouring country.
