Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been arrested

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who was on her way to violence-hit Lakhimpur Kheri district to visit the kin of the victims there, has been arrested from Hargaon, claimed the party's youth wing national president Srinivas BV. 

 

As many as eight people have died including four farmers and four occupants of the vehicle(s) that allegedly ran over the farmers. Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM has claimed that one of the four farmers was shot dead by Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni's son, while others were run over by the vehicles of his convoy.  Read more

SRKs son Aryan Khan sent to NCB custody

Mumbai court has remanded Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and two other individuals to Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till October 4. Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB on Sunday in a drugs raid case along with Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.  Read more

3 NOIDA officers suspended in Supertech twin-tower case

The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended three Noida Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) officers over their role in the illegal construction of Supertech's two 40-storey towers in Noida.

 

A special investigation team (SIT) probing the matter has found 26 officials of the NOIDA guilty in the case of which 20 have retired, two have died and four are still serving.  Read more
