A cyclonic circulation can bring rain
According to India Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over east central and adjoining northeast Bay of Bengal around September 25. It is likely to move west-northwest-wards and reach Odisha coast during subsequent 48 hours. Under its influence, a fresh spell of heavy rainfall likely over Odisha and adjoining areas from September 26.
West Bengal and Odisha: Here's a rain check
Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated very heavy falls are likely over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha on September 21; isolated heavy falls on September 22, and decrease in rainfall activity thereafter.

Rain alert for Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and other parts of north India
Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls very likely over Uttarakhand during September 21-25 and over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana during September 21-22, the weather dept said.

National capital to receive showers
Showers are likely to return to the national capital after a few days break. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light showers on Tuesday (September 21). The capital may see a moderate spell on Wednesday aswell, while there would be light rain in subsequent days till September 24.

Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls are likely over east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh till September 24, and rains will decrease thereafter, the IMD said.
