Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shiraj Singh Chouhan appealed to people to defer all wedding plans since such gatherings can prove to be super-spreaders. "All districts must review measures to reduce gatherings and no weddings should be allowed in the month of May," the Chief Minister urged while announcing that 'Janata COVID-19 curfew' has been extended in the state till May 16.

The High Court statement came after an oxygen tanker headed for Madhya Pradesh's Sagar was stopped by Uttar Pradesh officials between Modinagar and Jhansi on Sunday.
