Amit Mishra was arrested by Bangalore police
Former India and Delhi Capitals leg-spinner Amit Mishra was arrested by the Bangalore police on charges of assault on a woman in a hotel room. Mishra was booked under the Indian Penal Code sections 354 – assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty – and 328 – causing hurt with intent to commit an offense. Suresh Raina was arrested for breaking Covid-19 protocol

Navjot Singh Sidhu arrested after decision comes in a long-pending matter
Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu was convicted in the 34-year-old case on Thursday (May 19, 2022). He was sentenced to one year in prison. The ruling was made by the Supreme Court today. In the 1988 road accident case, Sidhu was initially released with a small fine, but the hearing of the case was once again started on the basis of a complaint by the family of the deceased.
