Peacemaker Rani ensures patch-up of Salman and Aditya

Mumbai, July 14: The title of ‘Peacemaker of Bollywood’ goes to Rani Mukerji, who has always been foremost in making peace between opposite camps. All the Khans in Bollywood swear by the little lady’s sweet deed. Whenever issues need to be sorted out or soaring tempers need to be brought down, Rani Mukerji makes an appearance. Be it Shah Rukh-Salman war or more recently, Salman-Aditya patch-up, Rani has been trying to restore peace.According to sources, Salman agreed to do Aditya Chopra’s film only at behest of Rani, who talked him into it. Salman was angry with YRF during the making of ‘Chak De’. He was initially signed for the same, but when he delayed the project citing date and script reasons, Aditya went ahead and signed rival SRK without informing him. This irritated Salman no end and created tension between the actor and the production house. A source said to a news daily, "Rani was instrumental in getting Salman to patch up with the banner. When she was on Salman`s ‘10 Ka Dum’ in the last season, she had a long chat with Sallu and told him that Adi was keen on working with him. She convinced Salman to bury the hatchet." Salman has not worked with the production house till date and this unnamed film will be his first film with the banner. Well, commendable job Rani to have forced hot-headed Salman to see sense!
