Why ‘hairy monster’ Madonna did not shave her armpits in school!

Washington: Madonna has revealed that she was not a popular girl in her school days and was tagged a ‘hairy monster’ by boys.

And she puts it down to doing exactly the opposite of what other girls did in school. “The boys in my school would make fun of me,” People magazine quoted her as telling Harper’s Bazaar. “And then, going to high school, I saw how popular girls had to behave to get the boys.” “I knew I couldn’t fit into that. So I decided to do the opposite. I refused to wear makeup, to have a hairstyle. I refused to shave. I had hairy armpits.” The singer also asserted that straight men did not find her attractive, and so she used to hang out in gay clubs instead. “Straight men did not find me attractive.” “I think they were scared of me because I was different,” she added.
