New Delhi: Officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday searched the office premises of former finance minister P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram.

The ED officials searched premises of Chess Global Advisory where Karti is the director.
The ED Southern Zone has confiscated an important laptop. Further details are awaited.

It may be recalled that last month the ED and Income Tax department on conducted raids two more offices related to Karti –Vasan Eye Care and Advantage Strategic.
The issue relates to Karti's in connection with its money laundering probe in the Aircel-Maxis case.
