Delhi: Jimmy Sheirgill received a string of "Happy birthday" messages on social networking site Twitter Tuesday even when it wasn`t his special day.
Still, the actor thanked his fans.
"Thanking you all for your birthday wishes, but just wanted to clarify that it`s not my birthday today. I was born on the 3rd of December," tweeted Jimmy, 42.
He is awaiting the release of his Punjabi film ‘Rangeelay’, which also stars Neha Dhupia. It releases May 16.
