Los Angeles: English actor Rafe Spall, seen in the movie `One Day`, is trying hard to get in shape for his new film `I Give It a Year` so that he can convince audiences that he is capable of dating his co-star Rose Byrne.

The 29-year-old opened up about his battle with his weight and said he was compelled to lose five-and-a-half pounds for the role. "I wanted to look convincing enough that audiences would believe Rose Byrne would fancy me. I wanted to look well and healthy," dailymail.co.uk quoted Spall as saying. IANS
