New York: Agyness Deyn says that she seeks men with character and doesn’t care if a guy is not “very good looking”. The model blames herself for being single and says that she is very “choosy” about selecting a partner.
“I’m all alone. There has been no man in my life for several months now and although it would be nice to have a boyfriend, I can’t just settle for anyone,” a newspaper has quoted her as saying.
“The fact is I’m choosy, but mainly about a man’s character. He has to be interesting, funny and clever. I don’t even mind if he’s not very good-looking,” she added.
The former face of Burberry said that it was important to her that a guy be able to handle her busy schedule.
“I have also been very busy this year working hard and moving my career on from being a model,” she said.
Deyn, whose given name is Laura Hollins, made a big splash on the modelling scene in 2006, landing on the cover of Vogue in 2007. She, however, quit the industry in 2009 to pursue acting. She recently made her stage debut in the play, ‘The Leisure Society’. She has been linked in the past to musician to Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes as well as to Josh Hubbard of the band The Paddingtons.
