`American Idol` wants Sean Combs as judge

New York: Sean P. Diddy Combs is reportedly in line for a judging job on American Idol.

Producers at the Fox show have reached out to the Bad Boy Records founder, reports the New York Post. “Idol” has an open seat on its judging panel after Steven Tyler opted to leave the show earlier this year after two seasons. Diddy previously appeared on Idol in a mentoring role for finalists. The star has also performed on the show, receiving a standing ovation from the audience and judges in March last year. ANI
