In the video, Indian Coast Guard are seen onboard a large vessel. A fisherman is seen swimming towards a ring lifebuoy attached to the large vessel. He grabs the doughnut and is slowly pulled towards the vessel.
Cyclone Ockhi, which wrecked havoc in coastal regions of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshwadeep, has claimed several lives in the past few days.
As many as 531 fishermen, stranded in the choppy waters off the Kerala and Lakshadweep coasts have been rescued. The Coast Guard has rescued 198 fishermen and 18 fishing boats of Tamil Nadu off the Western coast.
