Darsheel Safary wows co-stars on sets, teaches dancing!

New Delhi, Nov 15: Little Bollywood wonder Darsheel Safary has bagged the coveted role in a Hindi adaptation of much acclaimed Iranian flick ‘Children of Heaven’. He is playing the lead role in the Hindi movie ‘Bam Bam Bhole’, which revolves around a young kid struggling for excellence and survival. Quite a child prodigy, Darsheel won accolades for his performance in ‘Taare Zameen Par’, now he is impressing veteran actors on the sets of ‘BBB’ by teaching Atul Kulkarni, his onscreen father, dance steps that the former was having a hard time to pick up.A member of Shaimak Dawar’s dancing troupe, Darsheel had a song and dance number with Atul for the movie. The crew was shooting in Ooty for the song. However, Atul was unable to dance with the 12 year-old dance expert. So Darsheel took to guiding his onscreen father with alacrity, and in a few trials Atul gave perfect shots. The crew was all praises for Darsheel’s expertise in catching up with the steps and even guiding a veteran actor in doing the same. Filmmaker Priyadarshan has roped in Rituparna Sengupta as Darsheel’s onscreen mother while Kaveri Jha of ‘Hijack’ fame is playing Darsheel’s little sister. The flick is a sensitive take on a little boy’s will-power and his relationship with younger sister. The original Iraninan version is a classic and touching movie that has won numerous awards and has been critically acclaimed across the globe.
