Selena Gomez goes ‘Indian’ at Movie Awards

New Delhi: International singer Selena Gomez stunned one and all by doing a mujra act at the MTV Movie awards. The former girlfriend of teen pop sensation, Justin Beiber, was dressed in blood red. She sported a big red bindi and wore ethnic anklets. Her accessories too had an Indian touch. She performed her new single ‘Come And Get It’ at the event. The song has shades of Indian music too. However, many from the online community did not quite appreciate Selena’s “Indian act”. Many termed it as racist. Nonethless, Selena’s attempt won her appreciation too. Here’s what Britney Spears tweeted, “Wow @SelenaGomez... "Come & Get It" on the #mtvmovieawards was incredible! One of my favorite songs out there right now! (sic).”
