New York: Mick Jagger made fun of the candidates who are running for the US president on Saturday Night Live.
The Rolling Stones lead singer crooned a blues song mocking the presidential race.
“You’re going to have to raise about 100 million dollars or you’ll end down deep in the s—” the New York Post quoted Jagger as singing. The singer then took a poke at the Republican front-runner. “Mr. Romney, you know he’s a ‘mitch,’” sang the rock legend, who was backed up by guitarist Jeff Beck. Jagger also gave the candidates some advice, singing, “If you want to sleep in the West Wing, you have to strategize a bit.” “Who be sitting in that Oval Office who can say I must confess. In six months he’ll be screaming, ‘let me out this mess!’” Jagger continued. Jagger also belted out “The Last Time” backed up by Arcade Fire and “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll (But I Like It)” with The Foo Fighters playing behind him. ANI
