New Delhi: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is famous for making movies on serious issues. Now, he is all set to hit the silver screen with the most controversial topic of independent India's history, 'Emergency'.

Yes, at least that is what we can make out from veteran politician Subramanian Swamy's tweets along with the 'Heroine' director. On social media, the politician mentioned that he has given information for Madhur's upcoming directorial venture with an emergency backdrop.

Well, if it's the 'Emergency' period of 1975 that was announced by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, then it's a must watch for every citizen!
