Ryan International School student death: Mother says 'put principal in jail', demands CBI probe

Gurugram: Despite the assurance of speedy and fair trial from the Haryana Police, the mother of class II student, who was found brutally murdered at the Ryan International School in Gurugram, called for the arrest of the principal for allegedly showing indifferent attitude on her son's death.

"The principal of the school was indifferent when she came to the hospital. I demand to put her in the jail," the child's mother said. 

"I want to know what happened to my child. I want a CBI probe into the matter," she said further demanding a CBI investigation into the death of her minor child.

The principal of Ryan International School was suspended on Saturday, a day after class II student was brutally killed inside the toilet of school premises. 

Meanwhile, the parents continued to protest outside the campus since Friday against the negligence of the school authorities and demanding that the school be held accountable. 

Protests were also held outside a hospital on the Mehrauli-Gurugram (MG) road where the child's body was lying after the autopsy on Friday. Police sources said the parents of the boy refused to accept the body and said the cremation would only be held after the 'real' culprits were caught.

Talking to ANI, the parents of a class II student questioned the school administration and said that they could not even ensure basic safety for their son.

"We have not received any concrete reply from the administration as of now. I have not received any information. However, it is known that a accused has been caught. School administration has so far not replied as to why this incident happened in their school. We leave our children in school having a trust on school management. They are not reacting in a responsible manner. School administration has not talked to us personally regarding this incident. We have only met the teachers who told us that they found my son's body in a pool of blood outside the toilet," father of the victim told ANI. 

The body of the class II student, with his throat slit, was found inside the toilet of the school located at Bhondsi in Gurugram on Friday. Hours after the incident, the Gurugram Police confirmed that the accused bus conductor, who was arrested also tried to sexually assault the child before killing him. 

Meanwhile, the accused, a school bus conductor, has been sent to a three-day police custody.
