Mumbai: Hrithik Roshan’s latest – ‘Kaabil’ – an action-thriller produced by his father Rakesh Roshan and directed by Sanjay Gupta could be the first India film to have an official Hollywood remake.
The film which narrated the story of a blind man seeking revenge also starred Yami Gautam.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Rakesh Roshan said, “The screenplay was hard-hitting, and the drama, gripping. It would make for a wonderful Hollywood adaptation, given that it has all the necessary emotions. It struck gold at the box-office because it was about a visually-impaired lover seeking revenge.”
