Parents` divorce affects my relationships: Kelly Clarkson

London: Singer Kelly Clarkson is convinced her parents` divorce has affected her chances of settling down because she constantly worries about her relationships breaking down. The 29-year-old also said her pop career has been the reason she can`t find a steady boyfriend, reported a website.

“Divorce isn`t fun. It affects relationships you get into when you are older. I think you have to work a little harder because you`re constantly thinking it`s probably not going to work out in the end. Also, I travel a lot and work a lot. The way I live it`s hard for me to even find someone,” Clarkson said. The `American Idol` winner`s parents, Jeanne and Stephen, split when she was five and Clarkson thinks lack of stability while growing up is the reason she struggles with her own romances. PTI
