Gwen Stefani finds peace in a closet

London: Rocker Gwen Stefani has said she sometimes takes a break in her closet when she gets stressed out with work and her family.

The 42-year-old star, who has to juggle her music career and her responsibilities as a mother to her sons - five-year-old Kingston and three-year-old Zuma - said on occasions she takes a break in her wardrobe too, Contactmusic reported. "Meditation is my thing. But I`m not going to lie: sometimes I go into my closet and lock the door so no one can find me," she said. Stefani, who is married to Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, didn`t think she would still have a music career when she was over 40 and she says it is more practical to be a fashion designer and a mother, than a pop star and a parent. "I started my first line LAMB in 2003, because I didn`t think I`d still be doing music when I was 40, but I knew I`d be depressed if I wasn`t doing something creative. Plus, I love having a job where I can be in my office and look out the window and see my kids playing... I can`t imagine a day off really," she added. PTI
