New Delhi: Reliance Jio 4G Welcome Offer took the Indian telecom industry by storm further claiming a record 16 million subscribers in just a month.

This was no good news for other telecom players such as Airtel, Vodafone and Idea to name a few.

However, Airtel, as India's leading telecom service provider, is not one to give up.

After launching a series of offers, the Sunil Mittal company has come up with yet another offer to take on Reliance Jio.

The company has offered unlimited voice calling (local and STD) and a huge 18GB 3G/4G data for reportedly just Rs 2249.

Valid for 28 days, this offer is reportedly available for just selected customers who will receive an SMS from the company.

However, other Airtel pre-paid users can also avail the offer in three simple ways.

1. Go to Airtel Store, pay the said amount and get it activated
2. Users can used the USSD code too. Dial 121*1# and follow the given instructions
3. Launch the MyAirtel App, go to 'Special Offer' section, select the Rs 2249 plan and click OK. It will be activated in the next 4 hours.
